Pear AJAX Library for PHP

Filed under: Web Development — James Holden @ 6:07 pm

A colleague pointed me to the Pear HTML_AJAX library today. The library essentially allows nominated PHP classes to be instantiated and called from Javascript on the client end. It looks very cool indeed. I think I’ll have a look at this for the WYLUG talk manager I’m writing.

  2. Hi,

You could disable the AJAX code for certain user agents, so that your content appears in the initial page load.

    Avoid flash like the plague.
